Buckaroo Beef (The Freeze-Dried Beef Treat for Dogs)
Raw meat may contain microscopic flukes that can bore holes in the intestines, causing leaky gut syndrome. This product was developed for zoo animals by a company who uses freeze-drying to overcome this problem. They drop the temperature to 120 F degrees below zero and extract the moisture from the product under vacuum. Parasites cannot survive this process. With 44% protein and 29% fat, Buckaroo Beef is lightweight and convenient. It is an excellent "power bar" for training and traveling and is also used by many customers in "Emergency-Preparedness" kits. Buckaroo Beef patties are fortified with vitamins and minerals and can be given as a treat or added to dry food such as our Solid Gold Holistique Blendz, Basis-Plus Diet. Feed dry (crumble into smaller pieces to prevent choking). This product should be handled as raw meat. Wash hands after preparation. Do not rehydrate. This product contains NO added chemicals, colorings or preservatives. Buckaroo Beef will not swell up in the stomach, but can be used for dogs with diarrhea, as it will soak up excess fluid in the intestines. Buckaroo Beef should no be used as the sole diet, except for occasional use. Can be given daily as a supplement to dry food, or as a treat. A quarter of a patty is sufficient for a 50 lb. dog, when mixed with dry food. Ferrets love this product, too!
