Hydrolyzed Whitefish Hydrolyzed Whitefish was first used in 1967, in underdeveloped countries of the world, that were suffering from protein deficiency. The hydrolization process frees the amino acids and peptides in protein to enhance their activity in order to prevent a negative reaction with the immune system. It is helpful from Crohn's disease, chronic wounds, irritable bowel syndrome, bloody stools, constipation, diarrhea and ulcerative colitis. Hydrolyzed whitefish is also recommended for use by patients undergoing chemotherapy. Many veterinarians recommend a single source of protein for dogs with extreme allergies.
